When I saw this pair of brightly colored spiny oyster composite cabochons on Kenneth Otteson's table at the Tuscon Gem Show I just had to have them!!!! I designed these earrings with a bit of southwestern flair and set the cabochons in my hand fabricated silver work, crinkling the bezel edges intentionally for added primitive vibes.
The back of each earring is stamped with my signature heart and initials.
These beauties hang on my hand forged Argentium (935 silver) Silver ear wires.
Total Length: just under 2 and 1/4 inches.

Azteca Designs jewelry is hand-fabricated one unique piece at a time by me! Most of my work features intentional oxidation and patina. This finish is not meant to be removed, however, a small polishing cloth is included with silver jewelry orders and you may use this to gently clean your silver jewelry if it begins to tarnish.
Some gemstones are more delicate than others. Please wear pieces with care. I recommend removing all jewelry before strenuous activity or bathing/swimming.
