I am totally loving Rosy Revolver's new tumbling media she calls 'Hone&Highlight'. The stuff works like magic, eliminating the need to do hand finishing if you are like me and use Liver of Sulfur to artificially age/patina your work. It also rounds off raw un-filed ear wire ends, which means no more hand cramps trying to file those buggers smooth!!!
I just put 4 pairs of earrings of earrings in the tumbler - I'll let them spin for about 5-6 hours today, and then throw them in the tumbler with steel shot for about 10-15 minutes afterwards to get that perfect shine, and ta-da!!!
